This is one of several hundred Military Patches, owned by Cpl Albert Poma. Cpl Poma is shown in photo #4. Photo #4 describes the scene (changing the spark plugs on a Liberator). Location was Gioia, Italy. Late-1943 to mid-1944.Cpl Poma, an air force mechanic, collected the patches and sent them back to the States wjere they were framed under glass by his father,I cannot find this patch anywhere on-line. I bet YOU can! It measures 3"corner to
corner.I served in the CBI during the war, and in post-war Germany from 1946-1948. I saw, and wore, a lot of patches, but this is a rare collection, and my own memory is not good enough to remember very many of them.. The very fact that you are looking at this listing suggests you will recognize a lot more than I do!CONDITION is, as you see from the photos,is excellent.
