WWI ERA GREEK CAVALRY SWORD-NICE MARKINGS-RARE & UNUSUAL: $293.88
Very good condition original WWI era Greek cavalry sword.Similar to the Civil War US Model 1860, but scaled down in size. Sword hasseveral Greek markings on the left side of the blade. 31” blade has originalbright finish with some scattered gray and brown. Still has original leatherwasher at the base. Brass fittings have nice mellow patina. Knuckle bow has arepair. Grip has a few small chips and dings, and mostly tight wire wrap.Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that has bright finish with some grayand brown and one dent. A rare and unusual Greek military sword that will makean excellent addition to a collection and warrants further research.
