WWI HUNGARIAN MANNLICHER STEYR M95 BAYO-SCARCE CAVALRY MODEL W/ SIGHT BLADE For Sale

Very good condition and guaranteed original WWI HungarianMannlicher Steyr Model 1895 bayonet that is maker marked “F.G.G.Y.” on the leftside ricasso and has the Hungarian shield proof mark on the right side. Bayonetis the rare cavalry model with an auxiliary front sight blade on top of themuzzle ring. Blade has nice original bright finish with just a little scatteredgray. Remaining metla finish is mixed bright, gray, and brown. Wood grips haveoriginal finish and a good tight fit with some normal handling marks, lockbutton functions fine. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that is markedon the frog stud with an Austrian eagle proof and the Steyr “OEWG” trademark.Scabbard has mostly brown and gray patina with some scattered patina and alittle original green paint near the throat. Has a couple of small dents. Alsocomplete with original leather frog. Leather is soft and supple with lightwear, stitching is tight. A scarce M95 cavalry bayonet that will make a fineaddition to your collection.
