WWI RUSSIAN MODEL 1891 MOSIN NAGANT BAYO W/ AUSTRIAN SCABBARD For Sale

Very good condition and guaranteed original WWI RussianModel 1891 Mosin Nagant socket bayonet that is complete with the scarceoriginal WWI Austrian manufactured scabbard. Russia did not issue scabbardswith their bayonets, so when they were captured by Austria and Germany thosecountries produced “ersatz” scabbards for them. Bayonet is marked “S” on theright side of the shank, possibly for later Finn Civil Guard use. Bayonet hasnice blue metal finish with some brown scale on the blade toward the tip. Shankand socket have some scratches and white staining. Complete with working lockring. Austrian steel scabbard has nice blue metal finish, possibly reblue, andno dents. A nice Russian M91 bayonet with the hard to find Austrian scabbard.
