Very good condition original WWII German 98k Mauser bayonetthat is marked “41asw” on the blade for production by E.u.F. Horster in 1941.Blade has beautiful original blue metal finish showing very little wear, and afew spots of spotting. Remaining metal finish is original blue showing a littlenormal wear. Bakelite grips have a good tight fit and no damage, lock buttonfunctions fine. Fitted in correct nonmatching numbered scabbard that is marked“F.W. HOLLER 1937” and has original blue metal finish showing a littlescattered brown, no dents. Bayonet is complete with rare guaranteed originaltropical Afrika Korps web frog that shows some normal wear and has faint inkstamps markings on the back. Complete with handle straps. A nice 98k bayonetrig that will make a fine addition to your collection.
