WWII M3 R. C. Co. Fighting Knife with M6 Scabbard (Robeson) For Sale

Up for offer is an Original M3 Trench Knife in Excellent Condition, knife measures 11 and 9/16 inches overall with a 6 and 3/4 inch blade. The blade is stamped \"U.S. M3 R.C. Co and dates back to WW 2 or earlier. I am not an expert but I believe these trench knives were made by Robeson. The knife shows minor use and has been sharpened however blade appears to be full. Blade is carbon steel and exhibits darkening patina. The leather grip, finger guard and pommel are all tight and it has the bomb stamping on the finger guard.
The Scabbard is lightly stamped US M6 1943 over FJA and is in Fair Original Condition. It is complete, including snaps and staples but does have a couple of tears in the leather, please view the last three pics. This knife has been stored for 70 plus years and the leather scabbard was far more fragile than the knife.
