WWII US Army Survival Bowie or Fighting Knife Kinfolks V-44 USA USMC For Sale

These great big bowie knives were packed in survival kits aboard US Army aircraft prior to and early on in WWII. Made by Collins, Western, Case and Kinfolks w/Collins being the most predominant. The were very popularly \"repurposed\" as fighting knives. This is a Kinfolks example. No scabbard. well worn, used still in good shape. Length is 14 1/2\" w/a 9 3/8\" blade. Sharpening, scattered pitting w/good edge and some original finish left. Kinfolks Inc. marked on the blade. Brass guard w/very slight wiggle.
