Welcome to Musicdungeon, you are offerding on a great piece. This is the Vintage Zuleger Bassoon. Serial #: 11087. The Zuleger bassoons are highly celebrated- made in Germany by Schreiber. This bassoon has a maple build- this gives you the warmth of wood and the excellent note articulation of the maple- a beautiful balance. This Zuleger is in good/very good overall condition- there are the typical scratches, marks, compressions, and oxidation you expect. The pads here are worn and will need to be replaced. One of the tenon corks needs to be replaced and at some point someone scratched off the 'Germany' under the logo as you can see in pics. This sale includes two bocals- one has a patch and the other has a bend as you can see in pics. There are no breaks or repairs in the wood. The perfect piece for a tech or home repair enthusiast. With a bit of standard repair work you'll have yourself an incredible bassoon example from Zuleger Germany. This sale includes the case in pics(fair condition).
