Darker and worse than original Rolleiflex screen
I ordered this as a new to screen for my Rolleiflex Automat Model 4. But this was a big disappointment! This screen is actually darker and worse than the original Rolleiflex screen I have (and that one is pretty dark). The material this screen is made of is also very course, so the whole image look grainy and course. I took photos along the process in hope I could show some nice before and after pictures, but the photos clearly show it got worse.I ordered this as a new to screen for my Rolleiflex Automat Model 4. Good with magnifier
I’ve put it into a Flexaret TLR, it has a good one dimension but needs to be cut in the other one. Cutting was easy, however it has a tendency to break a little, but with sharp tools it should not be a problem. It is very bright, but focusing without magnifier is worse than with flat ground glass. Nearly everything seems to be in focus. It has very narrow angle of view and you need to look with just one eye and straight. Especially the split center works only with precise alignment.I’ve put it into a Flexaret TLR, it has a good one dimension but needs to be cut in the other one. Better than expected You get what you pay for and for £13 I have NO complaints, had it been £25 I would moan. It "just fits" it is too small to lock in place and only really does when the Rolleiflex T/s top is closed on the screen, or it falls out. It is 2mm too small all round, however, when shot down it works. For £13, get one. I bought this for my bronica s2a, hope that it would help me forcusing faster and more accurate. but its not Its not fit at all, its too big. i need to fine file it alot to fit Its make out of plastic, its daker than the original one of bronica.

This focusing screen was purchased for a Mamiya c22 and unfortunately was not the correct size to be installed. The dimensions were too large so the screen was not useful as intended.
