B-Side Entertainment

I received an e-mail today that no festival director wants to get – one of our best partners, B-Side Entertainment, is going out of business. B-Side provided hundreds of film festivals, including ACEFEST, with dynamic info pages four our entire program each year. I’ll be honest, their business model always puzzled me as I never quite understood how or if they made money. I guess my concerns were validated today, unfortunately.

The death of B-Side leaves a huge hole in the independent film industry. Their service truly was an asset for both organizations and filmmakers alike. Will they get picked-up by a larger company? Possibly. Either way, they will be missed.

Well, looks like we’re creating our own program pages this Summer!
