1848 Genealogy Letter Regarding Original Purchaser Of Norwich CT - Plymouth MA For Sale

This collectible genealogy letter from 1848 provides valuable insight into the Thomas Tracy of Tewksbury England, who landed in Plymouth and was one of the 35 original purchasers of the town of Norwich, CT. The letter offers a glimpse into the history of these New England towns, and the people who inhabited them during this time period.

From a cache of letters belonging to Nathaniel GOODWIN (1782-1855) and family. Nathaniel was a genealogist, Probate Judge, and Treasurer of Hartford CT. He also published "Descendants of Thomas Olcott" (1845), "The Foote Family" (1849), and posthumously, “Genealogical Notes of Some of the First Settlers of Connecticut and Massachusetts," with a memoir (1856).
