Jacob Gill Gaudaur, Sr.(3 April 1858 – 11 October 1937) was one of twoCanadiansto win the ProfessionalWorld Sculling Championship. Gaudaur was born inOrillia,Ontario. His first race was when he was aged 17 years and over his career he raced more than two hundred times. His professional career started in 1880.
