This set weighs a little under 5 lb. It's from either the 20s or 30s, in the 40s they started using aluminum boxes. To the box there is a crack on one side that I've pictured with my finger next to it however box opens closes just fine as it should. Could stand to be polished. As you can see there is wear and tear to a box as you would expect since it's set in a factory. It is full with all the cards. Many of these recipes call for a hundred pounds or more of flour. This is a pretty neat and unique set
