The Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railroad (C&EI) was a regional railroad connecting Chicago, Illinois to Southern Illinois, St. Louis, and Evansville, Indiana. It operated between 1877 and 1976, when it was split with portions sold to the Louisville & Nashville Railroad and the Missouri Pacific Railroad.
For sale is an employee pass from the C&EI for the year 1935, It measures appx 4 x 2 1/2 inches is printed on light-weight cardstock. The pass is in excellent condition, with no rips or tears. All writing/markings are from its issuance and use. It has been stored in and will be shipped in a hard-side plastic collector's sleeve.
A nice item for the C&EI railfan.
