Mammy / Aunt Jemima cookie jar was made by the Mosaic Tile Co. of Zanesville, Ohio.
The company was started by Karl Langerbeck and Herman Mueller in 1894.
It closed in 1967. The company\'s principal products were plain and ornamental tiles andsome ashtrays.
Bookends, and related giftwares were also made.
This was the only cookie jar made by Mosaic Tile Co., but it was made with different colored dresses.
Most sources say the jar was made in the 1940s, not the \'30s
