These leafy styled barkcloth patterns started showing up at commissary exchanged post WWII on the Hawaiian Islands...Honolulu. A pattern made in many different colorways...too many to mention and was a more popular mass produced yardage for the time...which made it so that there is still a good amount of it around. The white is very special...imagine making it through 80 years unscathed...still bright andclean...thick and nubby...leafy as all get out...fronds in celestial blues...orchid purples and pinks...dusty laurel sage and minty green with deep darkraisin...and the creamiest of every hue in the textile. If you love unused yardage...you'll be smitten with this gem for sure.
