This vintage AM tube radio is a rare find from the 1940s era. With its wooden cabinet measuring 10.5" x 6" x 8", it is a perfect addition for collectors of rare radios. I believe this to be a Philco radio as, in my opinion, it has features similar to being one. I couldn't find any identifying information on the radio or online. It also has some similarities to a Radiola as well. It has light stampings of Ideal Motel on the bottom. This may have been a model specific for hotels and motels, which could lead to a lack of information being available.
Weighs about 8.5 lb
I believe the radio was manufactured in the United States during the period of 1935-45. The radio has been well-preserved besides missing knobs, making it an ideal addition for those who love rare electronic items for your next restorative project.
It won't produce power. Missing the power knob and stem could be the reason, meaning that it could be in the off position.
Vintage electric or mechanical items are sold As-Is as collectible pieces with no guarantees or warranties implied.
