Here is your opportunity of a lifetime to own a 1947 Lucky Bag yearbook signed by the 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter, next to his photograph as a midshipman. And this is the full, bold "Jimmy Carter" signature as opposed to the "JCarter" often seen in books he authored.
Apparently this particular Jimmy Carter signed yearbook was previously sold at a fundraiser, as attested to by a document that will be included as provenance for the new owner. Condition: Good plus. This yearbook has a slight curve to it, some wear to the edges of the cover at top and bottom, some slight discoloration to the right side of the front cover, mild foxing to the top edges of the pages (only visible from above when the yearbook is closed), and the pages are starting to separate from the spine at page 539. There is also a blank United States Naval Academy shipping label pasted inside the back cover. See photos. The book has no smell or odor at all. It has obviously been lovingly looked after and treasured for many years.
There are some very slight scratches on Jimmy Carter's picture that are difficult to photograph. Have included three different pictures to try to show them. Very rare to see any Lucky Bag yearbook signed, especially one signed by the only United States President to graduate from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
