From the family property of Sam R. Costello, listed for sale is a beautiful 1930s tie and a plaid cotton handkerchief originally belonging to Sam Costello.
Sam R. Costello was a close associate of Al Capone and can be seen standing far right in the infamous “Lawn Photo” depicting many notable members of the Chicago Outfit. The lawn photo shown in this listing is for reference only. Costello's untimely death took place on February 10th, 1938, at the behest of his partner, Chicago Heights boss Jim Emery, due to a dispute over territory.
