Antique Cold Painted Viennese Bronze Basket Of Kittens For Sale

This is from my father's ( Robert J. Bass) world class collection of bronze miniatures. His previous collections were saleed at Sotheby in NY.

This is a precious teeny bronze basket featuring 3 kittens,each with a different colored ribbon on their neck pink, green,and blue.

These are from the turn of the 19th century when there were many workshops in Vienna which produced these miniature bronze masterpieces.

The method of crafting and painting has been lost over time, hence the high collectible aspect for these pieces and the high value for any intact pieces. This kitten basket weighs 8/10 of an oz. It measures 1" x 1/2" x 1/2"
