This is an amazing & very unique blend of Petroliana & vintage art piece. This is an early 1900s 5 gallon metal bulk oil from Standard Oil of Indiana that was painted as a Tole art piece in the probably late 1950s/early 1960s by artist Sue Morse from Tacoma Washington. The estimate for the time of the painting is based on the letters in the phone number. That was mostly phased out by the late 1960s.
