Banjo Tooie Nintendo 64 NOT FOR RESALE NFR N64 Cartridge Only. Authentic+Tested:
$144.95

For those not familiar with the not-for-resale copies what I've found that seems true is there were not many made for Banjo Tooie and as the name implies they were never intended to be sold but instead they were probably copies given to some game stores and used as a for rent copies of the game, Possibly a Demo. At least some originally had a large not-for-resale sticker on the back which may explain why theirs a chunk of the back sticker torn off this particular copy. Details:Sometime during April of 2023, I disassembled the cartridge for inspection - some rust was forming on the RF shielding and the pins were a bit dirty.Maintenance work(all were done personally)
1. Soaked the RF shielding in %99 Isopropyl Alcohol(IPA) for 12-15 hours in an attempt to slow the spread of rust. ( the rust turned and stayed darker than its original Brown color so I think that's a good sign)
2. Sanded down the spots with rust using IPA and a Fiberglass pen. (didn't get to bare Metal)Cleaned the Pins by applying 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to a Fiberglass Abrasive pen and gently sanded down the surface of each individual pin followed by 99% IPA+ Cotton swabs to absorb the loosened grime
3. Brushed out dust from chip legs and the overall board with a Small toothbrush Soaked in 99% IPA (The board was very clean to begin with, and had no clear signs of corrosion)
4. Carefully cleaned both the inside and outside of the plastic shell with a cloth+Lense Zeiss Lens Cleaner as well as Cotton swabs for the hard-to-get areas - The face and back Stickers were not removed to avoid additional damage and I didn't use a brush for the shell or IPA as well to avoid micro scratching or discoloring the plastic and Stickers.
Side Note: There was Adhesive residue on the front stick that I cleaned off best I could without getting rough. It was in the shape of a 30 x 15mm or so Rectangle so I suspect there was once a small sticker on the front sticker as well, perhaps you can locate what store had it by seeing if there was only one store that had a small sticker about that size on the front. Summary:
Overall it's now in what I consider a fully functional, lightly(to keep the originality) refurbished condition with very little wear on the plastic the main bits of damage is the circular torn-off outer layer of the back sticker And what seems like could be light fading on the front sticker.
Feel free to ask any questions i'll try responding as soon as i can which is usually in a day or 2.
