This is a great pre-owned quality vintage leather buckstitched browband style headstall with a matching pair of 6 foot 5 inch long buckstitched split reins that is convertable to a split ear headstall by removing the throatlatch. The leather is doubled and stitched through all layers of the headstall with a sewn in buckle as in all quality construction headstalls. The first two feet of the reins are also doubled and stitched to add weight and drape. The bit can be changed with chicago screw conchos. There are two bit end and browband conchos made of nickel silver. The headstall is in lightly used well maintained pre-owned condition with some wear to the white buckstitching.
The headstall is horse size and adjusts from 38 inches to 42 inches in length with room to punch more holes to make it smaller if needed. The 5/8 inch wide split reins measure 6 feet 5 inches in length. This is a very nice quality vintage USA made headstall that will give you decades of use with proper care.
