Cigar OasisExcel 3.0 Description

The Cigar Oasis EXCEL 3.0 is the long awaited 3rd generation Excel humidifier that includes the WiFi capability built in (subscription required). The Excel 3.0 is a small humidifier that is fully automatic. Just plug it in using a paper thin power cord and it's ready to go. The large LCD displays the humidity and temperature in the humidor and displays the current set point.

The unit comes with a refillable, replaceable water cartridge that uses distilled water only.

Please Note: Cigar Oasis is making a transition in late 2020 to sending empty cartridges with Excel 3.0 units. At this time, some units we have been receiving have the pre-filled cartridges and some do not. If you receive one with the empty cartridges, you will need to fill the cartridge with distilled water prior to use.

The Cigar Oasis EXCEL 3.0 electronic control top module accurately monitors the humidity and uses a quiet fan to filter and circulate the air in the humidor eliminating "musty" odors so common in well-sealed humidors. The Cigar Oasis EXCEL 3.0 now has built in Smart Humidor® Wi-Fi which allows users to adjust and monitor humidity remotely from any iOS or Android smart device with a subscription.

FAQ

Which Cigar Oasis model do I need for my humidor?

Ultra 3.0 = Humidors with up to 1.5 cubic ft. of internal volume and up to100 cigars

Excel 3.0 = Humidors with up to 4 cubic ft. of internal volume and up to 300 cigars

Plus 3.0 = Humidors with up to 8 - 10 cubic ft. of internal volume and up to1000 cigars

Magna 3.0 = Designed for larger end tableandcommercial applications up to 60 cubic ft. of internal volume

Generally, the Excel and all Cigar Oasis cartridges can be refilled with distilled water 5-6 times before needing to be replaced. Over time and refills, the mold retardant inside the cartridge will dissipate therefore causing the cartridge to hold less and less water. Typically, you can go around 2 years on one cartridge assuming refilling every 3-4 months. How well your humidor seals, the design of your humidor and how many cigars you have inside your humidor will affect how long you can go between cartridge refills
