Carol Grace Loretto Hand Coiled/Burnished Pottery Eagle Vase Jemez Pueblo Signed For Sale

This is a gorgeous, handmade vase inspired by the Anasazi Pueblo people\'s pottery. Carol Grace Loretto, the artist, coiled layer after layer of clay up before firing and burnishing it to create a beautiful work of art. She designed an eagle motif into the sides, starkly rendered in black against the natural red of the clay. This piece would make an excellent gift for any collector of Pueblo pottery, or perhaps as a housewarming gift for someone with an interest in the Anasazi culture.
This vase is approximately 5 inches tall and the opening is 3 inches across. It is slightly scuffed. Please refer to photos and the condition description for more information.
