Vintage Dietzgen Drafting Set, Speedmaster SM-1283=PJL, Made in Germany, Vtg. 1960's Drafting Supplies, Tool Set, Kit This lovely set of drafting or drawing instruments with a yellow lined case is the Speedmaster SM-1283-PJL set by Dietzgen, made in Germany, markings on black case. The set has 10 pieces. The tools have all the screws. The case is black hard plastic. It is stamped with the company name on the lid. Eugene Dietzgen founded his engineering supply house in 1885 in Chicago. In 1893 they began manufacturing drawing boards, surveying equipment, and other tools now valued by collectors for their high quality.
