GORGOUS! Deep Cobalt Blue Glass 2-piece Cuspidor & Cup Set
With lovely, soft lines -- an antique can't-miss piece!
With depth of color akin to a deep sea and elegant lines, this breathtaking glass cuspidor and cup set is non-pareil! Likely made in France in the mid-to-late 19th c., this unique 2-piece set was likely made for an elegant ladies' or gentlemen's tobacco ritual. The cup was likely a more mobile piece, with the wider cuspidor being the stationary receptacle. It is likely that this piece could also double as an ashtray and cigarette holder; with the holder nesting into ashtray to reduce unwanted odors.
This piece features rounded lines and a finely polished base indicative of European origin, likely France with Bohemia being the second likely candidate for origin. This piece is unsigned and without exact representation from my research. Similar pieces have been labeled as French origin, 19th c.
Condition:
This set is in EXCELLENT, MUSEUM READY condition! This is an exceptional piece which belies its age. There is some light surface wear, particularly to the bottom of the piece, but the piece is otherwise free from damage and repair!

Returns:
I accept a no-questions-asked money back return policy granted the request is made up to 30 days after the item arrives. I refund only the purchase price of the item and, if free return shipping is offered on the listing, the full return shipping. It is your responsibility to return the item to me in the same condition it was sent to you. If the item is returned in an inferior condition as to how it was sent, a full return might not be granted. New items that come back in an inferior condition or are removed from their original packaging will not be granted a full refund.
