This is a large and heavy piece, approximately 11 pounds and would need anchoring screws

It is primitive and shows wear indicative of age

There is missing areas of paint, along with some areas where it looks to have a lighter paint that may have dripped on to it, however ALL WOOD CARVING IS COMPLETE WITH NO CHUNKS OR GAPS MISSING.

AGAIN, THIS IS A PRIMITIVE PIECE

It is beautiful the way that is, but could obviously be easily retouched.

I’ve no idea of age I would guesstimate late 18th or early 19th century
