For your consideration we offer a fabulous Asian style solid brass pagoda shaped decorative box by Chapman. A large and substantial piece of exceptional quality and expensive when new, the Pagoda boxes were made in limited numbers and sold primarily through interior designers for a clientele of affluence. This example, created in 1978, stands approximately 8.5\" in height, measures 15\" in length, 9.5\" wide, and weighs 15 pounds. Well cared for across the decades, the box is in excellent vintage condition with no dents, dings, corrosion, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections found. An occasional random scratch can be seen on close inspection, but nothing immediately noticeable or distracting detracts from its presence and beauty. The cover fits securely as intended, the black velvet lined interior is clean and in good repair, and the brass polishes to a clear and brilliant luster.
