Rare, Chinese Jingdezehen Zhongguo Famille Rose Noire Mille Fleur covered and handled porcelain rice serving dish with 7 individual rice bowls This pattern is also referred to as 1000 flowers. The lidded rice serving dish has a black background with enamel decorated hand painted Famille Rose flowers. The inside of the lid is white porcelain and on the base it isstamped "Made in China 09". The rice serving dish is designed to allow some venting as a small hole is located near the top of the lid.
The large covered rice serving dish measures approximately 10.25 inches in diameter and 6.5 inches in height to the top of the handle on the lid and holds approximately 2 quarts. The weight of the lidded rice serving dish is approximately 4 pounds.
The matching seven individual rice bowls measure one inch in height and 5.5 inches in diameter.
