King Albert Edward VII 1898 Telegram - A.L.S. Handwritten on a blank telegraph form (Germany) to Queen Victoria. EDWARD VII. ADS, on German telegraph blank, in pencil, Coburg, Germany. Dated 1898, three years before Edward would become King upon Queen Victoria's death on 22 January 1901.
Original telegram written out in his hand and signed "Albert Edward". To Queen Victoria at Osborn, Message states: "Arrived here at 9:25. Found Alfred, Marie, and Fanny well. Aunt arrives this evening. Many thanks kind telegram". Singed Albert Edward. Edward VII (Albert Edward; 9 November 1841-6 May 1910) was King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India, from 22 January 1901 until his death in 1910.
