VERY RARE 1901 Marble Safety Axe Co skinning knife. This is pre catalogue, and very unique. Likely a special order, or possibly one of the first skinning knives produced. Handle scales are fixed firmly to tang, stamp is legible and clear as shown. Blade length is 5.5\". Sheath is a line decorated tube sheath that is unique to the knife. The sheath has damage on the backside as shown, but is presentable. Edge of the blade has small chips as shown.
