Description: An excellent, life-sized porcelain figure of a white Mandarin duck. It is decorated with gold and rust red highlights against the white porcelain body. It was manufactured byAelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrik AG of Unterweißbach, Germany, somewhere between 1890 and 1936 (likely in the 1910s or 1920s).
It\'s marked as a second, likely because of the hole in the bottom, which probably happened during firing, and which was patched at the factory.Size: 16.75\" tall, 14\"long (appox) 5\" wide at baseMark: Blue crossed As mark on bottom, which have been ground through.
