Miniature Relic Shrine - John the Baptist with Christ Child - late 19th Century For Sale

Miniature relic shrine seen here is a brass figural of St. John the Baptist with the Christ child. Made of cast brass and has a protective, slide-on cover. Figure is 1 inch long and 3/8 inch wide; cover is 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. From the late 19th century and is in very good condition, especially considering its age and wear.
