- The map is drawn on a scale of 1:62,500, with contourlines at 10-footintervals. It locates roads, towns, railroads, canals, and naturalfeatures, as well as individual homes and farms.
- It locates the Lima-Defiance Division of the OhioElectric Railroad andthe Miami & Erie Canal, as well as an abandoned canal north ofJunction and Flatrock Creek.
