The blade measures 3” and the blade is just under 5/8” weight 33.6 grams. The pivots are tight, the blade has minute metal spots, Engraved, BPO w/Elk Logo and 3 letters RRR The blade is hollow ground and not pitted. The Tang and Tail have no Jimps
The spine is clean from the nose to tail (see photo). The heel shows no strop wear. The tang has A.F. Shapleigh & Co along with St Louis. Made in Germany is also shown all on the side engraved. Both Scales are free of splits or breaks and a small scratch less than a 1/4 “ on one side. There is some wear on the Tang from opening and closing the blade
Overall, I have had this Razor for some time as when I saw BPO it hit me… the Elk logo took the place of the E. I played baseball as a kid for Benevolent Protective Order Elks 1808 ..I was pretty good then, got quite a few milkshakes …I think they’re still hanging around
