Bloodstone (Heliotrope) large rough raw unpolished slab for Lapidary or display.
Rare to find such a large specimen of Bloodstone.
Came to me from the collection of an amateur lapidarist many years ago. Cut but not polished. One side has had a laquer/varnish put on it whichgives it a glossy/polished appearance. The laquer seems to have yellowed, probably with age. The back has been left natural. The narrow base hasbeen cut flat so can be displayed stood up.
Absolutely stunning piece.Weighs approx. 1205 grams.
