Originally purchased January 30, 1965 from an Army & Air-force exchange service. (Receipt + Tagincluded) for a whooping $17.25, (no taxes were added).This radio appears vintage new. I see no signs that it ever had batteries installed until I put some in
for testing. The batteries fit very tightly with no rub marks. Two sets of ear phones were in the box.One set is still bound, never unwrapped, one set has been.Radio turned on, you can hear the scratchy interference type noise but I could NOT find a station totune in. I really know nothing about how the radio should work. If I should have picked up a localradio station, I did NOT. All I got was the \"scratchy interference noise\" when turning it on and orswitching between MW & SW. No sound when I wasn\'t turning the dial or switch.
Antennae is perfect, slides up and down as intended. The leather case is like new.****I am selling this as a nostalgic collectible piece with NO guarantees of it\'s working order.
