Rare Civil War GAR Broadside 107th NY Gen. Alexander S. Diven \"Campbell Guards:
$863.36

This is an extremely Rare document from the 107th New York Infantry Regiment. This broadside is named in honor of Alexander S. Diven. General divine was the first to draft the call for the US colored troops and was commanded for his gallantry and numerous battlefields, including Chancellorsville and Antietam. He enlisted on August 13, 1862 at Elmira New York as lieutenant colonel. On August 13, 1962 he was commissioned into field and stamped New York 107 infantry. He was discharged on May 11, 1863. On March 13, 1863 he was commissioned into the US volunteers, adjudicate general department. He resigned on April 5, 1865. The 107th New York fought at numerous major battles, including Antietum, Chancellorsville Gettysburg, the siege at Suffolk, South Anna, Bridge Shermans March to the sea and others which can be seen below. I tried to transcribe the document, the best I could. The document including frame is 21 inches wide and 26 inches tall. The frame is in fair shape, but the back is not in the best of condition and he held on with duct tape. This is a very historical important document that deserves to belong in the museum. If you have any questions, please ask before offerding. Free shipping in the US. No international shipping.

The only thing that is included is the document and frame. The rest of the pictures are for informational purposes only.

Below is the best translation of the document I can provide, since it's a bit hard to read. If you would like any more photographs, please feel free to ask.
