Seattle Washington Territory Scenery Booklet and Promotional Piece for Land in the New Town of TracytonScarce!This booklet is undated but appears to be circa 1890.It comes from Charles H. Kittinger, a real agent selling land at Tracyton on Puget Sound, near Seattle Washington.The booklet measures 9" x 6" and has 46 unnumbered pages. The page edges are dyed red. The left hand sides of the pages have text and the right had sides have illustrations. The front outside endpaper is a general ad for Charles H. Kittinger and the back outside endpaper is an advertisement for Land at the new town Tracyton opposite the new naval station.The exterior has a black and gilt design on a maroon-rust background.The views include Lake Washington, Olympic Range from Seattle Harbor, Seattle Dry Dock and Marine Railway, Providence Hospital, Schwabacher Building, Kittinger Block South Second Street, Rainier Club, First Regiment Armory "B", The Scurry Flat, Coal Bunkers and Wharves (in pencil written, "burned"), logging scene on Seattle Lake short & Eastern RR., Snoqualmie Falls, Korn Block South Second & Yesler Ave., Post Intelligencer Building, A glimpse of the water front, North Front Street, Junction of Front Commercial , James Street & Yesler Ave., Salmon cannery scene, Hotel Denny, hotel collage, Boston Block Second Street, Frye's Opera House, Burke's Block Second Street, Mount Ranier as see from Lake Washington, Pioneer Block corner Front and James Streets, schools collage, Front Street south fro Columbia Street, (pencil writing "before fire all burned"), Occidental Hotel, Stetson and Post Mill and the Snoqualmie Hope Fields.This item is in good condition. The exterior is beautiful.Note there are some marks on the Traycton ad, almost looks brown paint. This is the only for which this is true.​
