Shreve Crump & Low, Landers Frary & Clark, Sterling, Mother/Pearl Knives, Cutco For Sale

This case of vintage Mother of Pearl knives contain

• Three 7 3/4\" Shreve Crump & Low Co knives. They do not have a sterling hallmark which is unusual for this illustrious company from Boston so I am listing them as silver plated.
• Six 7 1/2\" Landers Frary & Clark, Aetna Works knives that are marked Sterling on the repousse.

Also included are two unmarked knives:

• 6 3/4\' decorative butter knife - There are no hallmarks, but on the repousse, there is an engraving of a tiny and crude C with up and down lines ( /\\/\\/\\/\\/\\ ). This knife has been well used as there is some pitting on the reverse of the decorative side. The pattern on this knife is identical to the Landers Frary & Clark knives.
• 7 3/4\" cheese knife - There is no maker\'s mark but is it marked with: \"Cheese Server, Stainless Steel\" and \"Made in Sheffield England.\" I do not know for sure that this one handle is Mother of Pearl or even Oyster Shell.

The box, marked Cutco, Chillicothe Ohio, is included in this sale and will not be sold separately. The whole set will be shipped with bubble wrap via Priority Mail for secure, fast shipping.

I have not polished any of the eleven knives as some prefer the vintage patina that comes with age. This set comes from a French Estate. This set would make a beautiful addition to any household.
