Sparkly 4.50\" Clear Quartz Lined with Calcite Matching Keokuk, Iowa area Geode PairDescriptionThe larger half measures approximately 4.50 inches across the opening, 3.50 inches up and down, and is 2.50 inches thick with a total weight of 3.30 pounds.This Keokuk geode opened up un-evenly given the large amount of calcite in the larger half - the lid basically popped off giving a 75/25 or 80/20 split. The calcites are quite heavy in the larger half with some minor calcite in the lid. Collected from private property in Clark County, Missouri, the geode was opened into two halves with a soil pipe cutter and the edges are not polished.
