Dimensions: 3.0 x 2.5 x 0.4cm, thumbnail.Superb, rich red, platy crystals of this very rare arsenic antimony sulfide associated with a small amount of Orpiment and Stibnite from the Getchell Mine in Nevada...the type locality! The lamellar crystals are transparent to translucent showing bright red internal reflectionas in many areas! This is truly a beautiful and outstanding specimen of the species with good quality crystals that are normally more embedded or broken. Great Basin Minerals label (Scott Klein).
