US Mail Post Office Wooden Collection Box Mailbox Vintage Circa 1950’s/60’s USPS For Sale

Vintage US Mail collection box circa 1950’s or 60’s. This came out of Pennsylvania but the exact town is unknown. Nicely aged, hand painted plywood box. Looks like it originally had a latch to lock it but it has been removed. Paint is worn but you can still see the office hours painted on top. Interior has been colored on by a child but luckily the exterior is clean! Measures 24” wide x 18” at tallest x 20” deep. Great piece of USPS history, looking for someone to give it a new purpose! Box is being sold as pictured. Local pick up is welcomed.
