Incredibly rare complete WW1 Henderson Ames Officers Presentation Sword with scabbard, tassel, frog or belt holder and cloth bag, all original !

Truly museum quality.

Although I do not have this listed with “best offer” I will consider any reasonable offer, just message me if you are interested in this at a somewhat lower price. I realize that this is quite a nitch item and will probably take some time to find the right collector.

Blade length is 28”, total length is 34.5”

Excellent condition on everything, especially considering that this piece is over 100 years old.

The #3 that is engraved on several places indicates that it is triple silver plated.

This piece of history has been passed down in my family from my great grandfather ending up with me. I have know-one to pass it on to, so I need to find a good home for it, where it will be appreciated as it should be.

Everything is in great condition, except for some minor oxidation on the scabbard as shown in photos 15 & 16.

I have not attempted to clean or polish this, other than a microfiber cloth wiping, that choice should be made by the next caretaker.
