For sale isa beautiful example of the smaller gold and red version of the cast iron \"Elephant with Howdah (Swinging Trunk)\" mechanical bank,manufactured by A.C. Williams sometime between 1905 and the1920\'s. The bankmeasures approximately 3 1/2\" tall x 5\" longand it is in excellent condition:it is all original, still operates as it should, andit retains 90%+ of its original gold paint with red highlights. When a coin is placed in the coin slot, the elephants trunk swings slightly to the side.
