Very good condition original German Hirschfanger (huntingknife/sword) that dates from the World Wars era. 10” blade has original brightfinish with some gray and has been sharpened, is unmarked. Knife features abrass clamshell and deer hoof guard and a stag antler grip which has beautifulcolor. Missing the pommel cap. Fitted in a leather scabbard that has brightmetal throat and tip and is probably a replacement. Leather shows some normalwear, stitching and staples are nice and tight. A classic early German huntingedged weapon that will make a great addition to your collection.
