This listing is for a Jaeger Le Coltre Atomosclock that belongedto my Uncle. When he passed away in 1978 I was given this clock in it\'s original box and packing and put it on the back shelf of my closet. I recently found it again, 40 years later! From what I was able to find out from the internet is that the case is made of brass andgold plated. It is aModel/Caliber # 528-8, Serial # 413392which indicates it was manufactured in the mid 1970\'s
This clock never needs winding because it is powered by in barometric pressure in the Atmosphere.
I was able to findan Information Manualon the internet on the proper leveling, unlocking the pendulum, care and adjustments which I followed and this clock seems to keep good time. As per the instructions I have locked the pendulum in its proper position for shipping. There are some small blemishes on the lower front of the base and a few other minor tarnish/blemishes if you look real close up. I have not attempted to clean or polish this clock.
It comes with the original box and packing as shown. I am still looking for the original instructions and if I can find them they will be included. The original box is fatigued so I will pack original box inside a larger box for shipping.
