1938 Pin Up Vargas Girl Beauty Art Deco Calendar Brownsville Washington Auto Rep For Sale

This vintage pin-up art piece from 1938 features a beautiful Vargas Girl in an Art Deco style. The piece is an original advertising calendar for Brownsville garage in the state of Washington auto body repairs in oddly confectionery which was candy. That’s quite the combo. This does have the original 1938 calendar pad all 12 months, including the cover is still there the cover does have some rust stains on it The artwork is signed by Albert Vargas titled summertime. There is a bit of soiling in the blue area to the left a mark on the ladies face just below her eye. There is some mild marks on the calendar overall, as the original hanging hole all intact this measures approximately 10 x 16 1/2“It is a unique collectible item that would make a great addition to any paper or pin-up collection. The calendar is dated from Brownsville, Washington and has a car related theme, making it a great piece for car enthusiasts as well.
