Vintage Palermo, Sicily souvenir photo folder dated August 1944, produced during World War II after Sicily had come under Allied control. Features period black-and-white photographic views of Palermo landmarks with captions printed in both Italian and English, including the Central Post and Telegraph Office and Central Station.
An especially interesting WWII-era travel and military-history collectible, very likely produced for the large number of Allied servicemen and English-speaking visitors passing through Sicily during this period.
